Where did you get the 8 GB for free?

Admittedly, I don't like buying software. I have never found proprietary software to do things that I cannot get an open source to do for free. I use mostly open source everything. However, my company bought Office 2007 awhile ago, and boy oh boy...

Have not been on in awhile

I have not logged on now in over a week. I am getting things in order here, as I am going to be moving back home in about 3 weeks or so. Moving my entire life to the other side of the world is quite a task. I do intend to stay an active participant in this community.

Whats going on with everyone? Anything new and exciting? I just read that GE has figured out a way to create a 500GB disk with some sort of holographic technology. Its pretty impressive! Take a… Continue

Duck

Forward: I wrote a review about this already somewhere, but I cannot seem to find it, or maybe I was dreaming? If it is there somewhere, and this is a double post I apologize.

Let me introduce you to duck.

This is one of the best search engines I have found, while searching for an alternative to Google. Now I know that most people use Google, and it is slowly taking over the world, but there are some issues I have with it.

Meet George Jetson...

I was surfing the web this morning, and I stumbled across this article about this guy from MIT, who has a marketable flying car. Well, to be honest, he calls it a airplane that you can drive home. And for only $194,000 you can have one. Quite a sight. I wonder what this invention could lead to....

Terminator...Really?

Just when you thought it could not get any worse, Warner Bros are releasing a 4th Terminator movie. The first one was nice, being as it was something fresh, and new. And even the second one was pretty good. Everyone loves the T-1000 don't they?

The last thing we need is the Governator running around killing robots, when we had to postpone tax returns as we are bankrupt, and we are raising taxes to heights unseen before in California.

Health Care in America

I am so sick of the health care system in America. I was just starting to think about it. When I get back home, I am going to be finishing school. So, I will be a student full time. I will have NO health care. If I fall and break my leg (heaven forbid) what are my options?

1. Do nothing, and hope that the bone magically resets it self and heals correctly.

2. Go to the ER and become $10,000 in debt.

I really feel like if we are going to call ourselves the best country in the world. Which we do… Continue

Hey SeaTark...that's me. I crash all sorts of things.

I think the problem is the graphics on my page with the photo of the flowers and the playlist. Sorry about that.

I see that you have joined Renderedcook's food group. I see that as being not only a great place to post recipes but a fun place too.

Sorry about crashing your browser. I use Firefox too and when I come to my page, it jumps when I get down to the comments. I don't know....weird.
