Antivirus on it now, runs fine in the background and since I got two cores in my processor I dont have to worry about everything I have running in the background..

Not paranoid at all. Been a S/O/P/A person on the net for bout 20 years or so. Security, Ownership, Privacy, and Abuse. After all this time, there is only a handful of people who know who I really am & where I live (state) and only a couple who know what I look like (you wouldn't like it - I swear.) Goes with the turf. With a state and a photo, I can find a persons house ususally in less than an hour. Of course with all the info clowns put up on Facebook & Myspace, I can nail many in less than 10 minutes. I might share with you at some point. Not in public. In the past I have dealt with many bad doodz - netopaths, spammers, net abusers, etc. Google search, particularly the newsgroups sometime, and check HipCrime & JoWazzoo, Majestic7@cryogen.com. OBTW, prepare for Oh My before you do that or just don't do it:=).

FWIW, I do like to mess with people but usually in a joking, humorous & fun sense - not an abusive sense.

We got a whole mess of pullet eggs, grits, fried thick sliced sugar cured ham, Bren's famous homemade biscuits and gravy, fried mush, homemade strawberry jam and some butter that was just turned yesterday. Yum-Yum.

Journey - Kewl. Saw them live in a bar in Portland OR before they took off. Free. And Cars - yep used to see them for $1 cover in Cambridge.

Absolutely, I would have no problem with that at all.

As far as getting into politics, from past experience (watching Ross Perot) I believe I would be a great candidate! I'm no good at telling lies, but I can bush beat when necessary (experience working in psychiatry, and working with the government in a slightly odd capacity). I have pretty big ears, but no money and I have no clue what is going on in the world other than what I might catch here and there on MSN.

Heck, minus the money, I could be a stand-in for George W. Bush ;).

What kind of geek are you?: Know this first about me. I love to laugh and have fun. There will be times when I will answer a forum thread by being funny or silly. Why do you consider yourself a geek?: The internet is the gateway to info HEAVEN. I am an information Geek. It is a PASSION. If it can be learned, I want to know about it.

How did you find out about our Geek community?: A friend invited me

What are your "geeky equipment" specs?: A screw driver, my mind. sticky notes, WD40, pen, computer. Lined paper, grocery receipts, anything to write on....:)

Oh, you meant my stuffies....old computer that is humming because I take good care of it. I also have an old phone...does that count?

What do you want to be when you grow up?: I am grown but no one told me it would be so much fun when I was younger.

What makes you laugh?: Any kind of humor...I love laughing out loud real hard.

What is the thing in life you treasure most?: Life itself..oop, my family and friends. Without them, I would be nothing.

What's the geekiest thing you've ever done?: Repaired my computer installing new hardware..written a novel, write short stories and poems.

I change to the oil in my car all the time. Last year, I replace the plug wires. Not hard to do on a 4 cylinder. If something goes out around my home, I am the first to try to repair it. Heck, if I get it wrong, I can always call HELP..someone will hear me.
