I find the idea of each "Geek" member to have "points" to be pretty male (and silly).

You never go to the Yarn Barn Forum or Makeup Maniacs * board to see all the gal pals there with "points".

Cool tool for foodies and average Joes alike - find recipes based on what you have in your kitchen

I just discovered RecipeKey.com and it has a tool called Ingredient Match. You do a simple lookup for items you have in your kitchen cupboards, fridge, etc., and drag them into "My Pantry".

Then you click on "Ingredient Match" and by some magic, a list of recipes comes up based on the items you placed in your 'My Pantry'. Genius!

It lists the recipes based on relevancy (i.e., 100% means you have all the ingredients required to make the dish).

I can't use Tweetdeck (Win XP Pro, SP2) and I'm SICK of it!

Long story short, I have installed and uninstalled Adobe AIR and Tweetdeck so many times, I cannot count, but for the life of me, I just can't figure out why (no matter what I do) Tweetdeck just sits there on my screen and doesn't do anything.

Totally blank application window, except for the toolbar and chrome (frame) of the app. I click on any/all the toolbar buttons to no avail.

[UPDATE] I figured it out. Damn Tweetdeck requires 1GHz processor speed (minimum) and the machine I want to use it… Continue
