Google getting ready to take on Microsoft in the OS business with Chrome OS.

Google has announce that they are making an OS for netbooks, and that it will be out by the second half of 2010. They haven't said but I'm guessing it will be based on the same Linux kernel as Android, at least that would make sense to me. With Google coming out with an OS and Microsoft with a search engine looks like its all at war between the 2 Giants.

Windows Vista SP2

There isn't much new in SP2, all though there it does seem a little bit more responsive but not as responsive as Windows 7. It didn't take long to install, about 30 min. When I installed SP2 I ran into a problem with Live Messenger. It didn't want to start up at all, when i clicked on the shortcut nothing happened. So i tried running in Compatibility mode but that didn't work, next i tried to repair the installation and that didn't work either. Finally I tried reinstalling it and that worked per… Continue

Mac Fans Angry At New Mac Desktops, Threatening To Switch To PCs, Did Hell Freeze Over?

I read an article on PC World today showing how mac fans in the US and UK have gone to macworld website and flooded the message boards with angry posts about disappointment and frustration with the new mac desktops. Ill post the article below, what are your thoughts.

What day do you leave and where are you going to be attending. I miss those days. Very exciting indeed. I loved going back for the Fall semesters because being from the beautiful state of New York, the foliage was stunning and just added that Fall aura to the air and enviroment. I've been there, but I envy you for being able to experience it now. I wish you well.
