Hello friend,, what is your most used Geek toy??
June 13
Yeah it can. just keep in mind that a macbook "13"" can only support the maximum resolution of 1920X1200 so i guess a 24" would be the maximum.

I don't want to say it is not worth having, but I have never had a need for it in my 4 years of Mac use.

It's essentially an extended warranty. Apple's customer service has always been top notch so it's worth extending.

and btw,i'm going for the 8-cores too.,
June 7
I totally agree with you there. but in my opinion OSX does make use of all cores.. the os just hmmm works better with handling stuff (only my opinion)
June 7
well,if you can afford the 8-core go for it,.

APR DUAL 3.5" HDD CASE

Storage, Now that is something you can not get enough of... Having a external drive is great. Having more then one is handy but it gets more of a clutter.

I started out with a Maxtor external drive, a 200GB IDE to Firewire 400/USB hook up. Handy for all those huge files that i had. (I am talking about the good old days when i still had a p.c. with a 10GB internal hard drive) Times change and the need for storage grows.

Now i am a person that does not throw much away. i think that anything that… Continue

MACBOOK WHY I BOUGTH A OLD VERSION AND UPGRADED IT.

After using my IBook for ages i finally when for the Macbook. Knowing fully well that a update will be inevitable within a few months. (I heard rumours that there would be a slight increase in the graphics card and a huge one in design) i opted out for a 2.1 GHz Intel Core Duo 2 With 1 Gig of ram Combo drive and a 120 GB Hard disk.

Basically a instep model without any options. And here is the reason why.

Apple make in my opinion great product but any add on is prices sky high. Paying €135,- mo… Continue

My plans where to put on another end can and leave it be. but during the summer i also noticed a soft spot around the 5500 - 6000 Rpm.
A slight hick up if you will.

Especially if you tried to give it some gas when your driving a 120 on the freeway and are to lazy to shift back.
I know allot of pe… Continue
