Geek

I'm sure that I've mentioned this before on either a forum post or blog post here on geeks. But, I'm a finance major who's recently quit his job at an investment bank to go back into computers. I work as a programmer analyst now. And I merely state my background so perhaps my blog posts has some merits among you geeks.

Well i've made the plunge. As a geek I'm completely justified in what i did. I bought a new system. Not only that i'm putting in an order for a new 24" dell monitor as well.

Short post but i'm excited :)

So one of the things I've struggled with all my life is what i want to do. I love finance (my major) i love computers (5 years programming net admin experience and am a current programmer/analyst). And now I'm attempting to go back to my child hood dream. (what it is will remain for another post).

But, for some reason i have the mentality that if if I'm not a geek for a living i can't keep programming, and geeking out on the side like i've always done. Has anybody ever had this problem? Its rat… Continue

Screw September and October. They don't' need to exist. I've literally taken five allergy pills and i still can't keep my eyes open or taste air with my nose.

Allergy alert is "very high" for the Kansas City area according to stupid weather.com. Its almost the festive Christmas time of the year, but i don't' like dressing up with a red nose like Rodolphe until at least December 1st.

That being said, anybody else love the movie "The Grinch" with Jim carry?
