Windows 7 seemed okay enough when I had it installed in the first few weeks of the beta test. I can see a large portion of windows users will be happy with the experience.
I really don't, I just have a huge interest in electronics. I have always been driven to learn more. But if I had to say one reason, I remember BBS's and using lynx to browse the internet. Woot!
How did you find out about our Geek community?
The gnome of course.
What are your "geeky equipment" specs?
Hacked PSP, XboX, PS2, Dreamcast. I havn't touched my 360. Oh, still own an Atari 2600... amongst all the other consoles I've ever owned. The atari still holds a special place though.
My new EEEpc 1000HA is in the mail. Let's see how that goes.
Thinking about triple booting that sucker! Xp, HACKintosh, and LinuxMint.
Dual Boot XP/LinuxMint
Current PC... hrm, I built this many, many, many years ago. Not all that impressive anymore. But it has been stable in its overclocked state since day one! it has treated me well.
What do you want to be when you grow up?
A lockergnome!
What makes you laugh?
My horrid skills when it comes to linux.
What is the thing in life you treasure most?
The people that are in my life. Sappy, no?
What's the geekiest thing you've ever done?
Went to see Star Wars Episode IV when it was Re-released in theaters. Brought my lightsaber and Jedi Robe. First showing at Midnight...
Oh, waited over 14 hours for the PS2 when it first came out. Since then I just gave up on waiting in line to become a ripped off early adopter of electronics.
Oh, and play rpg's like Dungeons and Dragons! Natural 20 baby, yeah! Rawr.
What do you do to entertain yourself?
Ride my motorcycle. Always trying to learn more Linux commands. If you can help out a newbie, hit me up!

Thanks for the comment Adel. I hope all is good with you and the EEEPC community. Ironically, as I write this, I have a friend's EEEPC needing a fresh install of XP so I am doing that :)
