It was better than number 3, which had almost nothing to do with hacking at all. More just spying on people and beating them with a bat, and that's not the way to do it. Plus one had angi with short hair and cyberpunk, it can't be topped.

The second Hackers 2 was kind of a failure. O well, we can all look back at the first Hackers movie for inspiration in case we think of Hackers 2.

Actually this is not true. There was never any script or funding in place, and the production of Takedown was totally unrelated. Any connection is pure rumor.

There was discussion, a script written, and funding made but there was such backlash from real "hackers" and its community that it eventually wound up being made into "Takedown". What a copout.

I hacked my sister's cell phone; i hacked my squad leader's computer remotely from mine and changed his password; and I made my CO's computer inaccessible with a screensaver i made myself.
