Share 'Would it be a good idea to switch 100% to a laptop?'

I'm considering buying a brand new laptop, top of the range, with all the specs of a desktop. Then I'm going to transfer all of my files from my current desktop to the new laptop. So then I'll have portability, and if I want, I can just stick in the VGA cable from my current monitor/TV and use my laptop on a 32" screen.
