Share 'Buying a TV, need information'

I have been looking for a good sized TV for my living room. I can accommodate up to a 52" TV. I was looking around the internet and all i see is HDTV here and HDTV there by every major known brand of TVs. I've been to BestBuy, Walmart, Target, Circuit City, etc and all they have is HDTV.
