I have vista home premium on my new laptop.
its ok, I am getting more and more used to it.

i'm sick of Vista,would downgrade to XP Pro,but going to wait for 7.Do have XP Pro on all my other computers,and love it.Dan i agree with you 100%

Just signed up for the UPGRADE from Gateway for the new box I just got. After using '7' on my old P4, I can't wait. Just loved the EASE of use that 7 has! Only issue I had was with an old SATA card. Hopefully the 64bit 7 is as good as the 32 bit.

XP Pro SP2 and SP3 was the crown glory of Windows. I still use XP Pro today an love it's rock solid and fast performance. Windows 7 will be the new XP, but I'll not migrate to it immediately, I always wait on any new OS for the bugs and quirks to be worked out.

i still use XP but i think its time for it to be put to rest...
7 is the latest craze and i think its the new XP!
but ill be switching to mac in a few weeks to a month

XP would be the best, altho I no longer use it and use 7 it still beats vista on a small scale and mac osx leapard on a large scale! I will come up with a portable game rig that has very ow specs in order to contain the heat so mabe I'll use my xp because it uses so little ram and cpu power (got to dust it off first lol) Here is a picture of windows 7 but you can get a look just like it from Stardock.com, they make many skins for xp that are really cool.

For me, while I do love Xp, that love has grown out of a serious disgust and loathing for vista.
