Or if that won't work, is it possible to dual boot it? And then just delete the Windows 7 when it runs out and go back to just using Vista?

I'm confused, I have Windows Vista currently running on my Laptop, it came pre-installed. I have done a complete system restore occasionally when my computer is running slow to restore it to its brand new condition. What I'm asking is, if I install the Windows 7 RC, if I do a complete restore, will it go back to the factory settings, including Windows Vista?

OK, then you'll just have to use Vista. When Windows 7 expires, I'm pretty sure that it just stays on the hard drive... You have to remove the partition it's on yourself.

I do have Vista on the hard drive already

No, it will not revert to Windows Vista.

Unless you have Vista on the hard drive already, you will just be stuck with the expired copy of Windows 7.
So either buy a copy of Windows, or go and get Linux :)

A quick question. If I install the Windows 7 RC, when the trial period is running out, if I do a system restore will it revert to Windows Vista? I only ask because my laptop didn't come with a Windows Disc. It's stored on a Hard Drive partition I believe
