Edgy Comment by Edgy 13 hours ago
I can't believe that I need to upgrade my netbook's Windows 7 starter just so I can change my background! I hate the way that has happened.

Many of the Shortcuts that I have in a couple of folders on my Desktop and other Shortcuts have been changing to the Windows 7 Default Icon. I do know how to go to properties and then change the Icon but after a reboot they change back to the Default. Another Icon that has changed to the Default is the Outlook 2007 icon. When you go into properties of Outlook there is no Change Icon button (or it is grayed out). Is there a way to stop these, and any other, Icons from changing to the Default icon?

Hi all. I made a screencast explaining how to create a keyboard shortcut to quickly open a program in Windows 7. Here's the link: http://geeks.pirillo.com/video/windows-7-tricks-keyboard

@ Zagorath...I guess I misread the question...I thought the question was about zooming in programs and not the OS
Zagorath Comment by Zagorath on December 14, 2009 at 2:20am
@Mr. Gadget, this is a shortcut utilized by a lot of programs, but not by the OS itself. Windows + Zoom (in Win7) or Ctrl + Zoom (in Mac) zooms the actual operating system, meaning you can not see the taskbar, or the menu bar (again, in their respective operating systems).
