I would like to know if there is a way to remove the sidebar from a particular page so that you can make use of the entire theme width? For instance I have a recommended products and services page where I want to use a directory plugin. On this page I do NOT want any side bar content.

Is there a way to make this happen?

@Raikko @Eddie - I believe those abstraction options may come soon from the administrative interface.

Raikko you can change all of that by editing home.php.

In the home.php file change this line
?php query_posts('showposts=1'); ?
Change the 1 to how ever many lines you want to show.
