OK ill tell u what i think
on my opinion i think that PC will always own because the things that u do in mac u can do it in pc and for the people that say that mac stronger than PC ill tell him that i use windows from 16 years and i think u should know that its never broke with me:D and every thing work in it.
and u can look from other way then u look for the computer that PC give u and u will see that is powerful than the apple and I'm sure don't tell me that I'm wrong
do u agree me?

Could have said it better myself! I like both PC's and Macs for different reasons, so it's hard for me to make an outright comparison. I will say, that since Macs can run both OS X and Windows, I would switch over to a Mac in heartbeat if it weren't for the price of their hardware. Anyone who has used a Mac can't deny the quality that goes into one. But the price factor between a Mac and the PC I'm running right now is too insane for me to consider getting one.

A mac in my book will always out do a pc when it comes to os power and functional use because one company makes the OS and the hardware unlike a pc think about it its like nissan vs Bmw think about it

He is brainwashed by the people at the Apple store.
He actually thinks that Apple makes the hardware for the laptop/desktop he is using, when in reality, the only thing made by Apple is the designer case.
The same Intel motherboards in the iMac are being used in the Sony Vaios.

lol I agree with u
and I wanna know why some one buy a laptop from apple when their is better than him like u can get sager its better than the Mac pro not macbook pro only
so if some one think that i should leave Microsoft and go for apple just tell me and why should i go for it?

I disagree, he has a valid point. Obviously Apple doesn't make it's hardware from a manufacturing point of view but they do determine which pieces of hardware to put together to make the Mac. The real benefit of this is that Apple only has to focus on a narrow set of hardware specs, this saves them tons of time since they don't have to run rigrours tests on millions of different hardware configurations. This means they have to spend less time ensuring stability, they can move on to more 'fun' aspects of the Mac.

The biggest mistake that Apple users make is they believe just because Windows supports everything it is unstable. I would be willing to bet that Microsoft has put in more hours of development time in just ensuring Windows is stable across the whole spectrum of hardware thany Apple has in the entire development of Mac OSX.

And to Microsoft's credit Windows XP is insanely stable and Windows Vista is even more stable than XP!

Further more there is something to be said about supporting all pieces of hardware. There are many budget hardware makers that make pieces of hardware that in and of themselves aren't stable. Microsoft has had to contend with this and actually find ways, via software, to work around cheap & faulty hardware... Not an easy feat.

You have to weigh the pros and cons on either side. When I weigh them I see Mac as the winner.

==== Mac ====

Pros:
* Apple's OS is far superior to Windows, anyone arguing otherwise hasn't used it.
* Ability to run any OS you want legally.
* No need to activate Mac OS
* No cheap/discount hardware vendors, Apple doesn't cut corners.
* Stability, OS is developed to operate with a handful of main hardware configurations as opposed to Windows.
* BSD
* Virtually no malware, ask anyone that actually uses and owns a Mac.
* Ability to run games both natively and dual-boot Windows for DX based games.

Cons:
* To legally run Apple's OS you got to buy their hardware which can be rather expensive.
* Might not fit your budget.

====PC====

Pros:
*Cheap hardware (although not always a pro if cheap hardware has failure)
*Lots of hardware choice
*Makes a great cheap server/business machine
*Can run Linux or other open source platforms instead of Windows without costing a lot of $

Cons:
*Needs a decent malware/virus protection which eats up system resources if running Windows
*64bit support is abysmal with Windows
*Legal cost of Windows OS takes up big part of budget and if you are running a pirated copy you can expect issues such as rootkits
