I started this group to bring together any small video projects and just talk about video camera's. I love the whole process and have a lot to learn.

My name is Christian and I am a video geek.

im gonna start doing drum videos and covers. i have a little mini dvd camera. it was like 700$ a few years ago. when i record the drums, the cymbals have no distortion on the camera.everything sounds fine but the toms and bass sound different, and more dead

I usually tape things such as accidents, fires, events, and general "things going on." Most of these were taped with my old VHS-C cam, so I can't get them on the computer without the right software. I usually tape things in my general area, but I almost always bring my camcorder when I go somewhere far. My camcorder is good (a Sony Mini DVD with a few accessories), but I plan on buying a "prosumer" once I make enough money.

I document weather events as a hobby. All I have for video recording is a cheap VHS guality DV camera. Right now, I'm only using Windows Movie Maker to edit my footage. Aside from that, I use a NOAA weather radio, Internet radar, and a basic understanding of weather patterns and storm structure.

I added a a quick little video reel of work I did for TGR to my profile. check it out. The stream quality of the site sucks, so it looks jumpy as if every other frame was dropped, but you get the idea...
