Whats Your Favourite Sonic Game?

That has to be the hardest question of all. There are simply so many sonic games out there. But I think the best would have to be the 1st 3. 2 I liked the most due to Tails. My favorite animal is a fox so thats how i truely got into it but then it grew from there.
I say the 1st 3 due to the fact thats were the 3 main characters are presented.

I'm glad someone else was having the same dilemma, my favorites are the first 3 as well as Sonic CD. The just because it started the craze and I think was easier in the sense of emerald collecting after that game only 2 and CD held my attention as far as collecting the Chaos Emeralds. 3, I loved because of actually getting to play as Tails and the Shields. His flight time limitation sucked at times because he'd always get tired just as your almost finished passing whatever large gap you needed to cross. Sonic CD had Metal Sonic, time travel with stage changes based on outcome, and a great soundtrack where you could take the game disk and put it in your CD player and listen to all the stage music.

I still have a copy of Sonic CD on the platform "Mega Drive CD", its a cracking sonic game with great music, i would put the 1st and 2nd sonic games (on Mega Drive II) in 1st and 2nd postion but Sonic CD may just have to come third for me :D rather than Sonic 3.

Sonic Adventure on the Dreamcast (Sonic Adventure DX on PC).

It is the best modern Sonic yet :)

Definetly Sonic 2 followed closely by 3 and "adventure", which also happened to be released on gamecube as a director's cut edition. :)

Probably Sonic the Hedgehog, the one before Sonic the Hedgehog 2 obviously.

hmm that is a easy one to ask but a tough one to awnswer. do the lock on games count ? if so then i say sonic 3 & knuckles. 2 great games put together for one truly amazing gem. when it comes to the modern ones the only one i really liked was sonic adventure dx for the gamecube.
