This group is for everyone who enjoys Pro Evolution Soccer. PES09 is right around the corner, and it might just be the best soccer game ever made. If anyone is interested, I might arrange an online tournament for PES2008. Let's discuss!

Some info about Pro Evolution Soccer 2009:

- PES has gained the Champions League license, and it will be a separate CL mode in the game

- The Spanish League will not be licensed, but some teams will.

List of licensed Spanish teams:

- Atletic Club
- Barcelona
- Deportivo
- Espanyol
- Mallorca
- Real Madrid
- Villarreal

- As last year, Eredivise, Ligue 1 and Serie A, will be fully licensed

- A new mode called Be A Legend will be in the game, alot like the " Be A Pro" which is to find in Fifa. However, Konami first came with this idea, keeping in mind that the mode Fantasista has been in the Winning Eleven series for a couple of years.

Comment by kayfabe on October 2, 2008 at 9:20am: I have to say I´m a bit afraid, that this years Fifa will be better than PES 2009. I´ve played the Fifa demo and it is really good. PES is still my fav. sports game, but I´m still playing the PES 6 version. The last version was full of bugs and slowed the game really down.
The PES demon should be out soon, right? Will see if this shows some good things.
