I'm working on a novel that also doesn't quite have a set genre. Well maybe it does, it is just... unique to me. XD

I started it for NaNoWriMo, and I'm love with it. I'm also trying to finish it before next NaNoWriMo in November. Anyway, I will say that it is very, very dark and gothic and bizarre ~ completely my style. I love writing it (except for at the moment... it's at a very depressing part and so I'm getting a bit depressed myself writing it!)
It has some mystery and a lot of romance... and a bit of um... erotica.

Anyway, I also have a series on the backburner sorta, that is VERY close to my heart. So I randomly keep going back to that. I also have an unfinished novel that I started for another NaNo in 2006. I also plan to finish that someday...

Other than that, I have this idea for a short story that I need to get working on soon.
I have way too many things on the go! I also have tons of outlines for other stories which I don't even want to think about yet!

I'm working on the sequel to my first fantasy novel. This one is called Sword & Illusion. It will be done by Christmas and I'll be sending it out by the first of the year.

My main project is Mallville, which I am posting the first draft of as I write it. I am also working on a side story about two extremely minor Mallville characters, and I'm working out an outline of something might try during NaNoWriMo, but I am unsure if I want to give that a serious try this year or not.

looking good so far!

Thanks! It's just the first draft of it, but I have found the idea that someone might be waiting to read it keeps me motivated. I've also found that not trying to do an outline is causing the story to just flow where it wants.
I think I am enjoying working on this more than anything I have done previously.

Wait a sec, firefly, wasn't Serenity related that series? I remember seeing something by that title (firefly) a while ago. Wasn't there a planet where scientists pumped the atmosphere with a sort of drug to calm people down in an attempt to create world peace but ended up either killing them or turning them into reavers? (if I'm thinking of something different, that probably sounded really strange...)

Yes, Serenity followed on from the Firefly series after it was cancelled. Its set a few months later i think. The population of the newly terraformed planet were exposed to a new drug/chemical designed to reduce aggressive qualities and generally chill everyone out - but it worked too well and the majority of them just lay down and died. A small percentage of the planets populated had an adverse effect to the drug, increasing their AQ dramatically and thus, the Reavers were created.

I write fantasy stories. Some geared to adults some young adults. I have several stories I have never let anyone read b4 and not sure if I should or not. The only thing good that came of my writing is I won a thing called young authors twice in school. Not sure if people would like what I have or not so I have not posted anything anywhere.

Stay safe online and in the real world.

I have a couple of novels waiting for me to find the funds to cover the cost of an editor. So I won't say much about them except that they are children's novels fitting loosely into the fantasy, science fiction and family genres. I write mainly children/young adult stories but occasionally I come up with an idea that really shouldn't be read by children, like The Parental Liar which I have posted on FictionPress http://www.fictionpress.com/u/626512/ with several other short stories. I would really appreciate anyone taking the time to review my work because it is the only way that I have to improve my writing.

I just completed my first published novel, Myst, Titan and the Outcasts. You can read about it on my website. It's a teen superhero novel written for teens and young adults.
