i was jailbreaking with redsn0w and everything was fine and great, until the apple logo came up. It has wont leave. I cant put my ipod in dfu mode, and my computer wont recognize it at all. I am not sure what to do!!!

I have looked everywhere and couldnt find any results.

Also, is my warrenty voided yet because I didnt actually start it up?

I tried mine with a third party set of earbuds w/mic that I got from eBay. Worked great, I downloaded Midomi, and it was able to identify a song from my singing into the mic. The Apple earbuds have some features that mine don't for controlling MP3 playback , but the mic itself worked without a problem

Guys the 2G is SWEET! got mine a few days ago. The speaker (if anybody is wondering) sounds perfect. not very loud, but loud enough for you to listen in a normal noise enviorment. Love it! get it!

Oh, one more thing that sucks, no cases yet! :(

I'm an 1st gen guy, for both iPhone and touch. But I joined because the iPod touch is just plain awesome.

Since Apple's site says that the new version of the Touch supports the new optional Apple earbuds with the mic built in, now all we need is a VOIP program to make phone calls.
