@Pedro how you finding the MacBook Pro? I'd be interested to see a blog post from you a month or 2 down the line giving your honest opinion on the pros and cons of the switch.

I switched to a Macbook Pro but I run Windows 7 on Fusion to play the Windows-only games and Live Messenger.

Now that I have photoshop on Ubutnu ( :D ), I love Ubuntu. Vista is now only there for iPod syncing. Ubuntu being free helps me understand that even though it was made by a big multi-billion dollar company, it is great, and in many ways, better.

Windows 7! I use one pc for everything even when running my dedicated server (my pc) windows 7 will set all the cpu power to what ever the computers doing and will turn down the fans so that my computer saves power.

I'm definitively a Linux guy but I make a living by programming on Windows.

I don't hate anyone because of their OS! :)

There is one really good use for Linux. When an OS has wrecked so badly that the system cannot boot up, Linux can often get us into the system to correct the problem. That is my primary use for Linux: hacking and fixing problems. Otherwise like David Mentions there are too few apps that can run on it.
