Hello, I am a former Renkus-Heinz engineer who still has and loves my RH PA system. Consider these toys:

Renkus Heinz P3500 Amp, FBT RH OEM P2950 amp (Each are 2 channel high fidelity AB Class Rack Amps)

RH x-220 LoudSpeaker Processor. (Active Cross-Over and EQ that do all processing BEFORE the amplifier to prevent transients from distorting sound to the drivers). Also the processor limits Amplifier outputs to 350watts per driver which is the maximum that my cabinet drivers can handle without distortion.

RH SR5 cabinets each has a 12" Complex Conic horn. (Yes Imagine a 12" round horn, hearing every subtle nuance of mid and high frequencies) driven by dual RH 3" compression drivers. Also for LF each cabinet has a 12" McCauley 12-7 Low Frequency Driver.

Sources are mixed via Extron Crosspoint matrix switcher, Tangent 802 console and Numark/Alesis DM1295 DJ Mixer. Sources include: Numark CDN36 dual CD deck, 3 PCs and 2 Laptops, many video game systems, 2 Cable TV receivers, 2 DVD players, 2 DVRs, and microphones.

The RH Sound system has been called the "Rolls Royce of Pro Audio" by DIY Audio.com. This is a premium high fidelity system that can deliver SPLs capable of actually causing physical pain to a body with absolute sheer clarity and articulation that delights the ear. Many pro audio systems can match the SPLs or even exceed them, but the clarity and articulation of the RH horns are second to none. PLEASE always use the complex conic shaped horn, as square and rectangular shaped horns CANNOT reproduce a 360 degree range of frequencies and this caused many frequencies to lobe, cancel and distort in the process. If I EVER get elected president, the FIRST order of business would be to outlaw all square and rectangular waveguides. They are an affront to the ear and to audiophiles. Please always use round or oval drivers and waveguides? Your ears (and those of your listeners) will thank you!

sweet. i would love to try some of those .... but they're so expensive :'(
although my Sennheiser cx500's are pretty good. but i'm sure they don't compare to those.

I just got my Etymotic ER6i in the mail today.
They're awesome, and now I can actually listen to some music when I'm studying in public.

Beamz is a electronic musical interface that comes with a mess of songs that you can play along with, and the Beamz program allows you to change the voice of the instruments as well. You play the "instrument by waving your hand or plucking at imaginary strings strung across the two harp like shapes of the Beamz. (price point is about $400)
