Love the game, BUT...
... I'm getting really annoyed with the way people are choosing to play it.
Every game I join, the survivors are focused on NOTHING but "GO GO GO GO GO GO" and rushing to the next safe house. That's NOT the way the game was intended to be played.
There are times to run fast, from one point to another, but there are times when you should slow down, gather grenades, take it calm, watch all sides, etc.
The majority of my deaths come from being completely unable to properly defend myself because I was not given time to reload, get more ammo, grab a pile of grenades we passed by, etc.
This is nothing new to L4D, though- people seem to rush through World of Warcraft or any other game I play multiplayer... this is why when it's not an FPS genre game I always solo when I play online, because I can't control people make poor gameplay style decisions.
It's too bad, because it's damaging my fun! I can't enjoy the game as much with the sheer amount of silliness going on!

I agree. When played right, L4D makes for an amazing game experience. But when you get caught by a smoker or something, and your team just keeps running ahead, that really gets on my nerves. If your just running through the game, how can you be getting any enjoyment out of it?

People needs to learn team work. Also in a game called synergy (half life 2 co op mod) people will just run thought the map and make the server change to the next map its so annoying.
