Hi everyone! My sincerest apologies for not posting polls the past two weeks. Life has been really, really crazy for me lately and I haven't had much chance to be on Geeks! I'll get back to posting polls this week.

In the meantime, here's the latest Kingdom Hearts news:

TV Tropes has an amusing list of tropes in the Kingdom Hearts series. Note that this page has some spoilers, for those who may not have played all the games yet.
Re:Chain of Memories is the #7 most popular PS2 rental on the Blockbuster Video Canada charts.
Symphonic Fantasies, a video game concert that features Kingdom Hearts music, will be coming to Germany this fall. It's conducted by Arnie Roth, who conducted the Final Fantasy "Dear Friends" and "Distant Worlds" concerts. I attended both of those and they were fabulous, so I suspect this concert will be awesome, too. I've just added a Google Alert for Arnie Roth, so if I hear of any other concerts happening, I'll be sure to let you know.
Anime Matsuri, a convention happening April 10th-12th in Houston, Texas, has just announced their guest line-up. Quinton Flynn, the voice of Axel, Crispin Freeman, the voice of Will Turner, will both be guests at the convention.
Kingdom Hearts III.net has new scans of 358/2 Days. They also confirm that Vincent Corazza will be returning as the voice of Zexion.
And lastly, Wiiz.fr has some 358/2 Days screenshots.

Comment by xnera on December 30, 2008 at 8:00pm: SIX new videos for your enjoyment today! Three gameplay videos for 358/2 Days were released at Jump Fiesta 2009. Watch them here. We also received confirmation that the game would be released in North America. Unfortunately, the anticipated Japanese release date of February 2009 has been pushed back to Spring 2009.

Birth By Sleep also got some lovin' at Jump Fiesta 2009, with one new trailer and two gameplay videos released. Watch them here.

Comment by xnera on December 16, 2008 at 8:21am: IMPORTANT: There's an issue playing Re:CoM on 80GB PS3. Apparently, you get stuck in the tutorial because of a glitch with the game. This article explains the glitch and offers a work-around.

Comment by xnera on December 13, 2008 at 10:21pm: Awesome, Omega! I haven't gotten Re:CoM yet, because I am le broke. I'm planning on getting it before Christmas, though, so hopefully this week.

Did everyone know that many of the Kingdom Hearts team members have been involved with the development of Final Fantasy Versus XIII? A new trailer was released yesterday, and it looks FANTASTIC. I really cannot wait for that game. I'm much more interested in it than I am in XIII itself.

The original trailers for both games is here, in high quality. (Note: there's a bunch of random stills at the end, as it helps with the encoding.) I really love hearing Shimomura-san's work in the Versus trailers. She did a fantastic job composing the Kingdom Hearts games, and I can already tell that I'm going to love the music in Versus.

A new 11" Riku Statue is forthcoming in Q2 2009, with an expected price of $130 (I'm assuming that's USD, though the article doesn't specify).

A community on LiveJournal is looking for Organization XIII roleplayers. They're looking for a Vexen, Lexaeus, and Luxord within the organization. They also need a Sora, Riku, and Kairi as well as many of the other characters.

Wizard Universe's FarePlay column reviews three of the articulated Kingdom Hearts toys: Sora, Riku, and King Mickey.

Square Enix members can send Re:CoM eCards to friends.
