Talk about what you do when you cannot sleep and share this group with everyone!
Here are some causes of insomnia: -Stressful situations -Anxiety -Mild to heavy depression -psychological problems -emotional problems -getting excited about something (like a new game or toy) -excitement about soemthing you are doing tomorrow. -just enjoying what you are doing so forgetting to sleep
Insomnia is alot more common than alot of people realize. I can say that among the people I live with most of us have sleepless nights occasionally. We call our house the 24-hour household because only rarely is everyone asleep at the same time. It is actually very eerie when everyone is asleep to walk around the house when its night time. Its not so eerie when its day time. :)
I have bi-polar disorder and as part of the cycling I go through periods where I dont sleep nearly as much as I should. Its very exhausting but at the same time I get alot done lol. But thats when I suffer insomnia the most.
I get it also when I am really worried and concerned about something. :)

I suppose I can say I have insomnia. I believe mine's self induced though. :) Too much technology and cool stuff distracting me constantly! The minute I'm away from tech, I fall asleep.
