yes i do think there should be a hacker 2 defiantly. if they did make a sequel it should look simula but i don't think they would be able to top it. it would be very hard to make better.

Actually I think there was a hackers 2 if I am not correct it was about a real life hacker and his trial or I could be completely wrong and I was lied to by a british man.

Yes...there was an "unofficial" sequel called Takedown...it is about the exploits of Kevin Mitnick!

Hackers 2 - Takedown, this was a show loosely based on Kevin Mitnick plight with the government. And no this i don't think was what Hackers 2 really should have looked like.

There was discussion, a script written, and funding made but there was such backlash from real "hackers" and its community that it eventually wound up being made into "Takedown".
What a copout.

Actually this is not true. There was never any script or funding in place, and the production of Takedown was totally unrelated. Any connection is pure rumor.

The second Hackers 2 was kind of a failure. O well, we can all look back at the first Hackers movie for inspiration in case we think of Hackers 2.

It was better than number 3, which had almost nothing to do with hacking at all. More just spying on people and beating them with a bat, and that's not the way to do it. Plus one had angi with short hair and cyberpunk, it can't be topped.
