"G" Mail

I just read the caption of the most current discussion and it got me to wondering.

With the tremendous effort that is being put forth by "Big Brother" to strip privacy and our freedom as Americans, how does everyone feel about the mega database of information that Google gets to compile free of charge via gmail and other avenues?

Will the "G"overnment ever decide that it needs access to all of this "private" information.

Does the "G"man have access to that database now, prying into private conversations, etc.

Does the average american even care anymore (i.e. FaceBook, etc.)?
