For those wondering about it, Sushi is Japanese. Some restaurants carry a mixed Pan-Asian cuisine, so while you might read of a Vietnamese Restaurant serving Sushi, The Sushi is still Japanese.

Also for those wondering, in Korea there is something prepared similarly to most Sushi rolls but with different ingredients within the rice. This is known as Kimbap.

Hmm... I love sushi aswell...

But...

Sushi is a Japanese word, and even if its not, it sure sounds Japanese. I wonder what they call Sushi in China and Korea, where they also have sushi, and why we chose the Japanese word.

Yum! My favorites are Hamachi Sashimi, spicy tuna handrolls with avocado and seared salmon.... mmmmm.
