A discussion I was having with a friend.
His main point was that unlike the "oldies" which he considers to be some of the best games, MMORPG games are "boring" because they lack the need for skill, for example the knowledge of when to block, the ability to multitask blocking and attacking, and other similar skills are lost due to the nature of the game.
My question for discussion is: is it possible to fully include this in an MMORPG?
Yes it is but only if the people playing welcome it! For example, Warcraft can't include all those because people feel that it takes too much time. It's for that reason I left WoW.
thy have some puzzles in the games and you have to figure them out if you wanna have the good stuff weapons & armors ,and often the don't wanna go that way (or over did things like that ) because MMORPG are very long games ... and thy are the social type of games (not the brain storm ones)
:) how do you think people would react to a class that focuses on that kind of fast reaction and decision making, and other classes that are more traditional?
