Torchwood Blog

With the transmission of the three Torchwood Radio plays now complete, the BBC has published a blog, written by producer Kate McAll, looking at how the series was created. The blog looks at how the programme was cast and how the series was put together. It features several pictures from the recording session. All three of the Torchwood Plays can be heard on the BBC iPlayer and, for the first time, listeners in the United Kingdom can download permanent copies of the programmes as MP3 files.

I agree, the ending of "The End of Time Part One" was pretty amazing. You knew it was coming, but still to them was awesome.

Tennant is my first Doctor, and you never forget your first Doctor but I look forward to seeing how the series progresses with the 11th Doctor as well. Also, Piper is going to have a role in the 2nd half and I love me some Rose!

Wow, End of Time is Fantastic. I like the bit with the master taking over everybody include Barack Obama and showing Time Lords. I knew they will show up. Can't wait for Part 2.

David Tennant is a great Doctor. He's my Doctor. I going to miss him, but looking forward for Matt Smith as 11th Doctor and show what he can do.

Waters of Mars creeped me out a bit because I have an extreme dislike of bodily fluids. The little computer animated series was nice though. David Tennant is amazing, and I will miss him a great deal.

I hate living in the U.S I won't be able to see Waters of Mars till January I believe and I haven't found time to watch it on the computer. I am also sad that David is leaving.

Did you know that "Torchwood" is an anagram for Doctor Who? Apparently producers were worried about copies of the Dr. Who show being leaked so when they stored it in the vaults they named the tapes "Torchwood." Just a random piece of information I thought was cool.

I just watched the "The other doctor" and "The planet of the dead" today on BBC. These two were awesome and I can't wait for next season!
