I use Stardock's Object Desktop and Object Dock Pro. I have the same settings on my laptop as I have on the desktop so I can seemlessly switch between the two.
Well, I don't prefer using things from another operating system as my screen is much visible in public places. Well, not everyone is happy about things...
Have replaced desktop icons by Launchy and put a nice desktop from Desktoptopia on there. Have made the task bar button sizes a minimal width so they only show the icon, that's because I can sometimes multi task to 25 windows.
Besides that I'm working slowly on an own written task bar, currently it's a nice blue bar with only a working clock, don't want to race on it... It's just for fun, but also to learn. (I think a lot on each step I take so it becomes perfect to me, could integrate something like Launchy in it when the time is there)
I'm also waiting for Cairo Shell to release their first test version.
I love things like Desktop Themes, Wallpaper, Stardock etc? I like to change my desktop experience for all of the holidays and seasons. A lot of my friends can’t understand why I do that. I tell them so I don’t have the same old thing to look at all year around. I especially love Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas. I have all of the Stardock/Wincustomize products. I make 99% of everything I use too. I even have made a Halloween wallpaper changer. If anyone wants it you can download it bellow.
I only ever used Window Blinds so I could make my own desktops. I've never used any themes from there though. I did use Object Dock too. For this specific customization anyway. Which happens to be my favorite. I never really needed Windowblinds though.(I altered uxtheme.dll so I can change XP when I want.) I don't use Windows much, but when I do I figure it should atleast look nice. :P Well here it is:
Oh and the blurred bits on the gTalk are full names and phone numbers I had to smudge out. Privacy and all that. :P
