Think i might have a way of burning to editing a basic movie and burning to dvd.....
NERO SOFTWARE
I copy my clips to a hard drive, import them to Nero Vision
Make a movie and either export or burn to dvd
The encodings i would use would be AVI or preferebly mp2
Had a brief play about with it but wil investigate further :)

Randy posted this option !!

After installing K-Lite Codec Pack (Full version) I can get my Creative Vado HD videos to load and playback in the edit timeline at a decent frame rates and quality using Adobe Premiere Elements 7.0, Sony Vegas Movie Studio 9.0 and Pinnacle Studio 12 which has the best frame rate playback quality at full resolution even full-screen on my 24" Dell LCD monitor.

On Vista all related to Vado Central (including muvee plugin for movie edition) works really, really bad. Creative tech support should improve that point in my HO.
On windows XP sp2 all seems to works fine and fluid!!!!

Thanksfull to community there are some free workarrounds:
For Video playing you can install VLC portable inside VADO HD memory:

For Video edition you can use VideoPad Video Editor, a much stronger application that one included with vado HD:
