Bingham, that sounds about right for me also ... 18-20 cups a day. Coffee is great for short term memory improvement !

Average for me is one to two pots of coffee a day at work in the summer.
During the winter I'll drink closer to four or five pots of coffee a day.

About 15 years ago, I drank alot of coffee (but nowhere near as much as you are). I stopped until recently, when I decided to quit smoking. Now I have no more than 2 cups a day, since I don't want to replace one habit with another, and end up drinking 20 or 30 cups a day. I found that if I wait til I'm having a horrible craving for a smoke to start making an individual cup, by the time its made, the nicotine fit is starting to leave me.

Over the summer I was drinking 3 24oz cups of coffee a day. But I've cut back to 2 and some days 1.

If I am working at home i easily kill a pot by myself, but while in school I rarely have the time to have more than a couple of cups a day.

I am down to one cup a day in the morning with breakfast, but the cup is a bowl with a handle - it is the size of two large mugs.

I must admit, I am a recovering coffee addict. In those days, I would sometimes drink 5+ cups o' Joe a day. I soon realized that I was getting jittery, and now I have cut it down to a mere 2 cups of Joe per day.
