This post is almost a year old. But HEY! What the heck? I'm bored.

One of the best things I've found about Apple keyboards is that they are dishwasher safe. With the following caveats:
1. Make sure the keyboard is on the top rack
2. Use the lowest heat/dryer setting possible, or remove the keyboard before heat cycles occur (Heat stiffens the rubber springs in the keys)
3. If you have forced air heating, set the keyboard over a duct opening for 24 hours. If not, shake out as much water as possible, if you have a fan - set it up to blow air over it for 24 hours. If you have none of the above, let the keyboard dry for at least 48 hours.

I have washed DOZENS of Apple Keyboards. Only 1 failed, and it had Coca Cola spilled in it a week before I washed it. CC is very corrosive.

Good luck, if you still have it.
