I have 4 kids, all have old laptops, and even older desktops. I must have 25-30 computers in the house. Only the ones provided by the home school virtual academy are less than 4 years old. My kids are 16, 14, 13,and 11. They are home schooled and don't know that they are all geeks. My 13 year old daughter is working at getting around or through my firewall, web filters, and DNS lock down; quite the little hacker. I'm looking to bring out the big guns and lock down all of their computers before she starts experimenting with scripts and writing code.

My son is currently about 17 months old. He's shown some interest in the computer. Mostly banging on the keyboard or clicking the mouse, but hey, ya gotta start somewhere right?

I've got several old computers (and old keyboards, mice, etc.), one of which will become a Linux box for him when he's old enough to start learning. Like indigo, it'll probably be around age 3 until that time comes...but who knows, he's very bright and relatively advanced compared to a lot of the other kids his age we know.

Two little ones here. 2 and 5 years old so only one has a PC so far. The boys do get to watch TV in their playroom using Media Center on a 360 extender.

I'll be a geek dad soon. Our little geek, Gavin Scott, is due March 13th.
