I saw them last year at SXSW at the 8bit peoples show along with nullsleep, bit shifter, tree wave aonami and others! It was great.

I too do compose 8-bit music myself since 7-8 years and got a hang on MegaMan-type of tunes. I also do some '8-bit hip-hop' and is around 150-200 tunes on that part.
