Ahhh, yes. Let the fanboy wars commence. Actually I really don't want that to happen. All I was wondering was what OS do you like the most. I am hoping that we can keep this civil and not breaking out into cursing every other OS off. I was just wondering. Me my self am very neutral. I do like the mac os for all my creative stuff but I love the windows os for gaming and such. I haven't used linux enough to have an opinion but the last time I used it I caught on to how it worked really fast. So, what is your favorite OS? Any os that you can think of. (Even like a NeXT os or Amiga will work as well. Not sure how many of you like tham but whatever.)

Anything Not Mac or Vista is usable. Sorry Mac users, but lets face it, its a fairly useless overpriced version of linux.

If you asked me that a few years ago, I would of probably said Windows due to my horrible experience of using a mac OS at that time (I think it was on the Mac power PC around 1997/1998). However more recently I have used the Mac OS for programs like Photoshop CS4, and Illistrator without any major issues. Most of the computers at the college I attend are mac based so I got used to using them. But I still use PCs for Gaming. Im tied between Windows and Mac

I am the same way. I use my Mac for everything but I still have a Windows partition on it just for my games. Too bad Steam isn't multi-platform.

All of my computers run Linux except for one. My HTPC runs Windows XP because I need it for a certain program. Otherwise Linux suits my needs and then some. I have OS X on a partition so I am familiar with it but really don't think it is as wonderful as most people say. One thing I think Apple has that no one else does is device communication. They are good at tying their products together but the reasons for that are obvious. Otherwise I think Apple just popularizes previously conceived ideas, which is important but nothing I admire.

Windows Vista if you have the hardware. Otherwise Windows XP. But Windows either way.

If Linux was more compatible with everything then id prefer that but sadly it is not =(
