I use Thunderbird for all my different e-mail accounts, can just have it run on the taskbar, and it'll alert me of new mail messages.

Ah yes, I used to use Windows Live Mail myself because I had multiple accounts.

But now I just have all my Email address forwarded to my main one, and I have the option to send mail from any of my addresses all from inside the one account.

So I no longer need a Mail Client for something like that.

Between work and personal, I have five e-mail accounts running, I need a mail client. Plus, GoDaddy web based email will log you out after so long, I can't have that!

No...Actually you can set how long it takes for you to be logged out...

I use Windows Mail currently and I also use Gmail. I just have all of my emails that come into Windows Mail to be sent to my Gmail account so I can view them If I'm not home or if I am on my iPod Touch.

What?

You have them sent to a client and then back to a web-based mail account?

Windows Mail is my main email client. But each time I receive an email I have it automatically sent to my gmail so in case I am not here on my computer It will then go to my gmail where I can check it either on my iPod Touch or another computer.

Ah I see.

So why do you use it to check mail on your computer and not just use Gmail all of the time?

I really like Windows Mail. I had set it up before I got Gmail, and also I don't want to switch my email address for everything that I use. Bit of a hassle..

Ohhh...Is this because Hotmail doesn't allow you to forward outside of other Hotmail addresses?

I'm not using hotmail?

Oh, what are you using?
