Who is the best Batman?

I had this "discussion" the other night with my friends and family. I have been a Batman fan since I was a little kid and I still love Batman to this day.

I say that Christian Bale is the best Batman. I was a huge fan of Adam West and he did justice for the show when it aired in 1966 and ran through 1968.

Any Batman in between I was hugely disappointed with.

Lets see what my fellow geeks think!!!

P.S. This is not a who was the best Joker discussion. I will post that for later debate!!!
