I use a USB connection, and my mouse fits into the USB port on the keyboard itself (I'm quite amazed how few keyboards actually have this). Got to love Apple keyboards and mice lol.
Sorry for the long wait lol. Yes, you can use Apple mice and keyboards with Windows. It just comes up as any old "human interface device" and works just like that. If you want the extra functions of the keyboard though like the eject key and so on then you'll need to download the bootcamp installer and keyboard drivers.
I like my USB keyboard and mouse.
With my keyboard having two of its own USB ports, my mouse taking one of them the other one free with my keyboard using only one from the computer.
Its like having the same number of usable ports plus a keyboard and mouse.
I couldn't use PS/2 ports if I wanted because my computer doesn't have them anyway.
