Honestly, I don't remember. o_O
Now, the first computer I had that I remembered the specs of was a Dell Dimension 2100.
800MHz Celeron (around there), 256MB of RAM, integrated Intel graphics, 40GB HDD, and Windows XP Home (and later used as my Linux lab rat until we sold it and had to put XP back on it)
No. When I used it we had DSL. I used it for quite while up until 2006, when I got my current computer (though, now I've upgraded my current machine like no tomorrow). And we've had Insight broadband since April or 2007.
Well technically my first computer was a Commadore 64 that connected to the TV but it was mainly just for games from floppy disk. My first real computer, when I really started getting into computers was my dads work Laptop a Compaq LTE20. It had a 25mhz CPU, 2mb ram, 640kb base ram, 120mb hard drive, a 1.44 floppy drive, a monochrome screen and a 2400 baud modem. Best game I could run was Doom and it was pretty choppy but it ran. Some other games I played on it were Wolfenstein3D, Blackstone, Scorched Earth was great, and Avoid the noid was a dominos pizza game.
