The Atari 2600 from 1977.
I remember AirSea Battle, Blackjack, Combat, Indy 500, Breakout, Canyon Bomber, Casino, Codebreaker, Concentration, Hangman, Night Driver and Adventure from the 1970's.
Talk about a time warp, I have not thought about these for quite a while.
i had a gameboy then my parents took it away from me after a week and returned it because they feared it would "interfere with my schooling" (i was in elementary school).
then i got a sega genesis like years later, and that went away after a month because it was going to "interfere with my schooling".
my 1st actual video game console that didnt leave in a month or something i got last year and was my ndsl.
growing up with insane foreign parents who want you to go to med school was awesome (and obviously that worked out well for them as i hate most people and am studying plants and my sister is going to school for journalism).
My parents had Pong, but the first console that I got was an Nintendo. Of course a month later they released the Super NES. Needless to say I wasn't happy.
