Xchat and I use IDLE and Eclipse a lot. Firefox is on most of the time too.

The only program I run all the time is mac OS X. Sorry, couldn't resist. Seriously though I tend to run Safari, Mail and depending on what I'm doing OpenOffice 3 or Blender.
