Flickr's photo editor has to be my favourite, but i would recommend picasa if you don't already have a flickr account.

GIMP IS THE BEST!!! You can do everything with it!!! I love it and would recommend (and I do) do anyone who asks me. And the Interface of the new Photoshop is very very similar to the one of GIMP 2.4... funny ey...???

The Gimp is my #1 choice these days, and The Gimp 2.6.2 was just released October 30.
