I enjoy gardening in the spring and summer. However, I also like to hike. To me just being out with mother nature is such an awesome gift.

Hang gliding huh? I would love to try it but man, I am so chicken.

Maine Coon Cat, Siamese Calico Mix and a Short Haired Domestic cat -Yea, cats - nothing too out of the ordinary, except they are leash trained (the 5' to 17' extendables) and they like it. I have a big field in the back of my house adjoined to school property with an even bigger field. They are leashed because of roads and traffic in front of my house, and had their bouts with "car trouble" (no harm though), so when outside they are leashed to keep them safe. I have basic pictures of them in my profile if you want to see them.

I was a sonar technician on submarines for 8 years from 1985 to 1993 during the Cold War and Desert Storm. The submarine in my pictures is the U.S.S. Honolulu, SSN-718, which was stationed out of Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. I served aboard her for about five years. Yea I used to live on a submarine, now I live in a house on top of all of this stuff called land. If you wanted to see a little more I have a slide show video in my profile called "USS Honolulu SSN-718" It is a collection of pictures, unfortunately I am not in any of them.

Haven't done this before, but I would like to get out of the city, somewhere into the country, and just gaze at a sky full of stars, where there is no light pollution or anything.
If I could manage to get a good internet connection, I would definitely love to live out in the country, but sadly, Broadband will keep be trapped in the city for quite some time.

Hopefully in the future you will be able to go anywhere and have a high-speed wifi connection even when camping (that would be awesome)

Though, there's also the issue of a slim IT market out in the country.
So, the market I want to get into, along with connection speeds out there, keeps me trapped in the city. Unless I want to make long commutes, which I really don't.
Though, it'd be nice to have a place out in the country to hide out in on the weekends.
