What did you do for the 4th of July? Did you stay indoors on your computer or game console or did you go out and enjoy a BBQ with family and friends? Me...I did a little of both.
Im actually doing it right now. I'm at a fundraiser/BBQ for Larry Kilgore (http://www.texassecession.com/index.html) who is running for Governor of Texas. All you Texans on Geeks should check him out!
HAD A FREAKING BLAST All of my friends gathered here we swam for a while then played some paintball then we all just chilled out the deck for a while until it got dark and then it started...
BOOM! Combined we had almost $4,000 worth of fireworks to set off we were blasting non stop from 9:00PM until 1:00AM this morning, it was insane. We had like half our neighborhood in front of our house (we were out back) it was crazy we were like the neighborhoods firework show.
It was a great night nobody got into any fights the girls kept a lid on the drama and my dad whipped up some mean BBQ and burgers for everyone to eat while we were blowing sh** up. Also no cops this year which sealed the deal.
Mine is as boring as it gets: mowed the lawn, made a simple dinner for myself and my mother, did the dishes, watched some T.V., spent time here at Geeks and played the last third of Dead Rising. Didn't get to see any fireworks or spend any time with friends, not that was a bad thing - it was just a quite peaceful day.
It was good 4th of July, spent most of the morning chillin with with Geeks and Twitter on the PC. Then it was time for some BBQ with the in-laws and friends. Wow there was so much food! When we got home my neighborhood was lit up like a war zone and sounded like one to and that lasted till 2:00am. Good thing it only comes once a year.
