Uhh... are you serious?

You can be against the war, but should still support the troops that are fighting there for us.

I agree.

The soldiers are not responsible for war, they just got to fight in it.

If you really supported the troops; then you'd demand their return! If you really supported the troops, then you would not want to sacrifice them as pawns in an elite game of global chess.

I support our troops wherever they're sent and for whatever purpose. It's beside the point when it comes to giving our support for those who are sent to fight. That's they're job. They're only doing what they're told. That's why the "support our troops" campaign started in the first place. A lot of people didn't agree with why we were going to war. Yes, I support our troops 100% no matter where they go and no matter what the reason.

Well said OmniDragon. Those that have not served their nation in military service fail to realize you sign up to serve. There are no provisions to pick and choose if you want to participate in a particular war or not. Many of our troops might not agree with the nations involvement in a war, but they do their duty and serve their nation.

First thing I did when I pulled the blog post up and saw Dennis Kucinich was laugh. He is not one take seriously. I know this first hand because I live less than 50 mile from his district. He has not done one thing for that district and the only reason he is still in office there is because no one wants to run for that area because of the mess he made it. He also was the Mayor in Cleveland which there was a recall to get him out of office that he narrowly survived. He was also awarded for being one of the worst Big City Mayors of all time from 1820 to 1993.

I agree with OmniDragon and Michael, If you have not served don't understand that most of our troops believe in what they are doing. I say this being a Dessert Storm Vet who saw what the Iraq troops did to in Kuwait. I am a proud Vet and support our troops where ever they go and I don't mean just the US troops either.

You have zero evidence to support that assertion.

You have zero evidence to support otherwise.

Yeah but they're programmed like war machines when they join the army. Then when the governemnt says go to war they do what they are programmed to do.

Explain to me how we are programmed like war machines?

I agree with you on this one Persian, The governemnt is killing the loved ones of so many by unnseccessarily sending them to war.

By the way, on another note, amhadinajhad (however you spell it) won by rigged election, i'm sure of it.

Kucinich is right, Obama can't keep spending money on war nor can any part of the American or world governemnts. It's a waste of tax payers money.

I am going to have to disagree w/ you on one big point and that is the government is killing loved ones.......they signed up for it, and if they signed up any time in the past 4 years it is strong bet you will be going to the middle east. If it was a draft, then, yes you could say that, but it is not...so...yea.
