Click this Ready 2 Rumble Revolution badge on or before February 6, 2009. That's the giant red boxing glove you see below - that's what you have to click first.
Then, leave a comment below (in this post) explaining why you want a Wii - I'll also count comments on for the corresponding blog post on chris.pirillo.com. They'll be mixed in together, and one winner will be selected at random.
If we generate the most legitimate clicks through this badge, I'll be the grand prize winner - and if that happens, I'll give the Wii to one of you.
Pretty easy to do, no?
Okay, now if you haven't figured it out by now - Ready 2 Rumble Revolution is the next installation in the series. It's pretty much like the other R2R games you've known and loved, except for one small detail: it's now available on the Wii. Suffice it to say, R2R is probably the funniest boxing video game you'll ever experience. Time to stand up and start swinging your Wiimote and Wii nunchuk until you get a TKO!
So, the first thing you need to do is click the giant boxing glove here:
And if you've never loved R2R, maybe the chance of winning a Wii for yourself will change your mind?
So, are you ready to rumble? [and yes, "The Voice of the Champions," Michael Buffer, famous for his "Let's Get Ready to Rumble" remark, will be the host of your R2R Revolution gaming experience.]
NOTE: The contest is now over. We came in second place this time, so I won't have anything to give away. However, they're going to be doing a second contest, so stay tuned for a new thread.
I would like to win a wii becaus eall my frineds talk about having all the new game systems but all i have is a ps 1 to play with and they wont bye me any new ones so i would like the wii to be able to play with my friends and be able to play it (it looks like a lot of fun) ive googled a lot of vids on wii
I'd like a Wii for several reasons. 1: It's a great system for parties. 2: I want to develop programs for it and who wants to get stuck in emulator land? 3: I don't even have a DS. My newest game system (apart from my PC) is a PS2. 4: I can't box in real life, so why can't I play as Rocky Balboa in a video game?
I want to get a Wii because that a bunch of games I see on the Wii just seem to be out of reach for PS3 and Xbox 360 users, and that is because most games on the Wii are exclusive. I am a big fan of the Mario series, the Zelda series, and the Super Smash Bros. Series, and a bunch of other series, too.
I also want to win this Wii because I can't afford to get my own, and I hope this is my lucky ticket into getting a Wii. That would be awesome.
Well, I want a Wii to
a. exercise (need a Wii fit for this)
b. play with my grandchildren who think this is the best thing since sliced bread (wait, they've never known anything but sliced bread!)
c. get off my duff and do something physical
d. join the 'next' generation in the gaming sector
e. can't find one I'm willing to pay the 'inflated' price for!
I would like to win a Wii because, firstly, all my friends have one which leaves me out of the loop. I'm a big Nintendo fan and have wanted a Wii for a long while, but haven't been able to afford one. There's been a lot of hectic things happening in my family, and when we have time to relax, there's nothing really to do except watch TV and be bored and tired. A Wii would be a great geeky way to bring this family just a little bit closer to each other!
