There's a chance you can win a Wii:

  1. Click this Ready 2 Rumble Revolution badge on or before February 6, 2009. That's the giant red boxing glove you see below - that's what you have to click first.
  2. Then, leave a comment below (in this post) explaining why you want a Wii - I'll also count comments on for the corresponding blog post on chris.pirillo.com. They'll be mixed in together, and one winner will be selected at random.
  3. If we generate the most legitimate clicks through this badge, I'll be the grand prize winner - and if that happens, I'll give the Wii to one of you.

Pretty easy to do, no?

Okay, now if you haven't figured it out by now - Ready 2 Rumble Revolution is the next installation in the series. It's pretty much like the other R2R games you've known and loved, except for one small detail: it's now available on the Wii. Suffice it to say, R2R is probably the funniest boxing video game you'll ever experience. Time to stand up and start swinging your Wiimote and Wii nunchuk until you get a TKO!

So, the first thing you need to do is click the giant boxing glove here:

And if you've never loved R2R, maybe the chance of winning a Wii for yourself will change your mind?

So, are you ready to rumble? [and yes, "The Voice of the Champions," Michael Buffer, famous for his "Let's Get Ready to Rumble" remark, will be the host of your R2R Revolution gaming experience.]

NOTE: The contest is now over. We came in second place this time, so I won't have anything to give away. However, they're going to be doing a second contest, so stay tuned for a new thread.

I'd love to win a Wii. I think everyone in our family would enjoy it. From the parents to the Grandchildren this look like a family oriented, yet offering exercise and co-ordination, terrific for all ages. Maybe the Grand kids would come for a visit more often.

I'd love to get a Wii! Think of all the fun I'd have playing something i'd really like and losing weight, getting in fit at the same time! I haven't had any gaming consoles at all since the mid 1990s and back then it was a SNES. I've had a chance to play N64 but not that much. I've missed the XBOX, XBOX 360, PS2,PS3 etc etc. I don't even have a cell phone that can play games. So Getting a Wii would be a life altering event for sure! :)

I would really like to win this Wii. It would be a gift for my 13 year old sister, who's been secretly wanting one since forever. She is a very deserving child and has never asked for anything like this because she knows how tight a family's budget can be. This would also be a good opportunity for us to bond as siblings, and i would really like to make this happen for her.

Thanks for the chance - Cloud

I wanna win a Wii because I don't have one and my grandkids keep whipping my butt when I go to their house and play with them, not to mention, it will get me off the computer some and get the blood moving through my veins and the old X-box has died and I need to stay up with the times.

I would just love to win a Wii to play with my son. He has been wanting one for some time now and this is something I would spend time playing with him. He visits a friend that has one and comes home all excited to tell me about the Wii they played and how much I would like it too. Thanks for sharing :)

Plea for a Wii

I would love a Wii, I've never owned a gaming unit so the Wii would be cool. My nephews got one for Christmas a couple years ago and they looked to be having a great time. So much so they wouldn't let me give it a try. I've heard alot abotu Wii Fitness and would kill for a fun way to lose some weight. All the time I spend at the computer doesn't help a bit to lose weight and maintain an active lifestyle. I live with four other people so I'm sure it would get it's fair share of use.
Thanks for considering my plea for the Wii.
