Click this Ready 2 Rumble Revolution badge on or before February 6, 2009. That's the giant red boxing glove you see below - that's what you have to click first.
Then, leave a comment below (in this post) explaining why you want a Wii - I'll also count comments on for the corresponding blog post on chris.pirillo.com. They'll be mixed in together, and one winner will be selected at random.
If we generate the most legitimate clicks through this badge, I'll be the grand prize winner - and if that happens, I'll give the Wii to one of you.
Pretty easy to do, no?
Okay, now if you haven't figured it out by now - Ready 2 Rumble Revolution is the next installation in the series. It's pretty much like the other R2R games you've known and loved, except for one small detail: it's now available on the Wii. Suffice it to say, R2R is probably the funniest boxing video game you'll ever experience. Time to stand up and start swinging your Wiimote and Wii nunchuk until you get a TKO!
So, the first thing you need to do is click the giant boxing glove here:
And if you've never loved R2R, maybe the chance of winning a Wii for yourself will change your mind?
So, are you ready to rumble? [and yes, "The Voice of the Champions," Michael Buffer, famous for his "Let's Get Ready to Rumble" remark, will be the host of your R2R Revolution gaming experience.]
NOTE: The contest is now over. We came in second place this time, so I won't have anything to give away. However, they're going to be doing a second contest, so stay tuned for a new thread.
I would love to get a Wii my friend has one and Wii fit is great but I can't always get over to his house to use it and I really need to get into shape. I also haven't owned a console system since Super Nintendo so it would make me very happy to win this :)
me and my sister would love this she does not know i am entering this but imagine if it turned up one day she would look sooo happy. she would love me forever untill she gets bored of it but i know i wouldn't they are soooooooooo much fun.
I would very much like a Wii because of Chuck Norris. And because I don't have any money to buy a Wii and I want to as quoted by Mastur Cheef "get all teh bithciz"
Since the Wii came out I thought it looked like fun, despite raging console debates that suggested otherwise. I've seen it turn into the one of the most relavant consoles to date, and feel like I've been missing out. I love playing games on my 360 with my son, but its clear the Wii would give us many more options.
I need a Wii because the last gaming system that I owned (besides my PC) was the Atari 7200. Still have both the Atari 2600 and 7200 in working condition as well as several joysticks and about 40 games. Being that I am now a father I would really like to win this for my girls. Although they would have to fight me for playing time.
I would like to have a Wii for my disabled daughter who has Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA), Type I. Her muscles are too weak for any normal type of playing, and a Wii would enable us to have fun with her in a new and incredibly fun way through the motion sensing controls -- how cool! :) We own no other gaming devices b/c they would not serve our desires to find new and innovative ways to give her the enhanced quality of life that we strive to provide. See blog.hopeforemily.com, or follow me on Twitter for more about her. :)
